On Monday June 5, Hartford HealthCare welcomed almost 400 new colleagues at its first system-wide, in-person orientation, a day that immerses newcomers in our culture and provides useful information about the benefits of building a career here. New Colleague Orientation takes place every other week, providing a “wow” introduction set to a special soundtrack designed to lift their spirits and let them know they belong. The diverse music in the soundtrack — developed with input from members of the Asian/Pacific Islander, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx and LGBTQ+ colleague resource groups — features genres from hip hop to classic rock, reggae to K-pop and just about everything in between. The playlist contains more than seven hours of music and can be found on Spotify by using the QR code at right.
